The ship with the strange symbols in its hold has disappeared! Fortunately, the ship's surgeon is still being detained in the prison. See what you can find out from him, and try to find the ship.

This is a group mission.

The first part of this mission has you visiting the local prison to talk to the surgeon. Since he is behind bars, you will not be able to click on him; however, you can initiate a conversation by pressing X when you are close enough.

After this, you have to defeat a single level 19 'Atlas' Bark or level 15 'Curieuse' Heavy Snow (depending on nation) in boarding combat. This ship will be escorted by two lower-level guards of level 7-12.

If you wish to do this mission solo, note that the main target is quite terrible at sailing upwind. You can get far away from it if you sail upwind of it for quite a while (in the close haul direction, not straight upwind) to start the mission. Reroll the mission until you get suitable other enemy ships and you can sink the other ships 1 on 2, repair, and then fight the rogue ship alone.
