Oh my, what a surprise! Despite my accomodations languishing here in this dusty corner in the shadow of that hussy, someone seems to have noticed me! I'll have you know that I was stationed here to look after the interests of my third cousins, the Bourbons, perhaps you've heard of them? The most important family in all of Europe? The irresistible force that will unify France and Spain into the greatest power the world has ever known?
Unfortunately for me, I didn't realize that Leogane is a place less concerned with the rule of law than with the ascendancy of the Mississippi Company. They even had the nerve to force me to "share" an office with this ... this ... woman bureaucrat! Oh, its still my office, they tell me, I'm merely not allowed to use the desk or conduct any business here. She once even asked me to fetch her some tea! If i were not a gentleman...
I'm concocting a plan to ruin her, to destroy that which she values most, her reputation. She loves to tell a story of "working her way up" the ranks of a cathouse in Louisiana. A story that smacks of republicanism to me, but let us never mind that. It sounds more false every time I hear it. I want you to investigate by breaking into the Mississippi Company's office here in Leogane and bringing me her employment records.
We'll prove that she's no prostitute, and oh how her reputation will wither!
