The founders came together out of common bonds and purpose and established the Order of St. George to pursue our economic and military goals in the Caribbean, as representatives of the British Empire. In carrying out his or her ambitions, each member shall act with honor and in the tradition of our Order's namesake, "Right faithful true he was in deed and word."* We recognize that a society is a framework for a community of people to come together in, identify with, and carry out common goals. Just as form follows function, members do not serve the society, but the society exists to serve the members.

The Order of St. George carries a shield in one hand, to protect the innocent, our membership, and British interests in the Caribbean, and in the other hand we carry a sword to destroy our enemies, "Which of all earthly things he most did crave; and ever as he rode his heart did yearn, to prove his puissance in battle brave."*

Compatibility with the other society members is important to us and that can only be determined by grouping and conversing with one another. Team play, temperance, and integrity are a must. Good communication skills are also highly desired.

The Order of St. George is a society of new and experienced players. Our society's ambitions are both economic and military and while we encourage every member to participate in both, there are no requirements to do so. We regular group together for missions, pirate hunting, and port contention (when it goes live). Most of our members enjoy trading, manufacturing, discussing tactics, practicing formations, executing formation maneuvers, and light roleplay.

If you would like to know more or would like to group with some of our members, send a personal message to Gatecrasher on the official forums or contact one of our society leaders in game.
