The professor has been kidnapped by the Knights of St. George! Your scholar friend has overheard them say that they want to use him to find the Philosopher's Stone. He has a good idea where they could be for now, so you should start the pursuit immediately.
You will have to go to another port to access this mission.!( what port?)! Once there, you will find yourself on a beach with a group of the Knights of St. George up ahead. Go and talk to their leader to get some of their motivations and plans. Eventually, the leader will take off, leaving his escorts (all level 20) to fight you. Defeat them to finish the mission - you will have your scholar contact to help you fight (and you can claim your reward and get the follow-up mission right there).
