The Master openly admits to not relishing the thought of being defeated by you and therefore offers you a true challenge: you are to face off against him and two of his instructors-in-training. If you defeat them, he can always blame the loss on them.
This is a swashbuckling duel against three opponents on a beach. The Florentine Master will be a level 28 Boss-rank NPC, and he'll be accompanied by two regular level 28 NPCs. Neither of them will be hostile at the start of the mission, making it impossible for you to use a gun from long range to start the fight. Instead, you will have to talk to the Master to begin the duel.
Using a gun close-up is not recommended, as you'll need all your balance in the coming fight. As the Master is a formidable opponents and will take a while to take down under the best of circumstances, it's probably a good idea to take out his underlings first to relieve the pressure on your balance. Killing them as quickly as possible is key to winning this duel (if you get defeated, you have to start over - you cannot use Smelling Salts to revive yourself). After this, concentrate on taking down the Master's balance before trying to damage him.
