After you've beaten two of his students, the florentine master decides to make it a bit more difficult.

Much like the previous mission, but against three level 8 opponents this time. This is a good opportunity to practice your swashbuckling skills against groups of NPCs. If you are defeated, you will not be able to use smelling salts, but will have to restart the mission.
