The Cardinal is filled with the Wrath of the Lord over the fact that a Templar agent has managed to board the high inquisitor's ship, so he wants you to position your ship near Tortuga and attack any pirate heading towards or departing from that wretched hive of scum and villainy.
As usual, go and talk to Mogens Brisebois in Tortuga first. He tells to go ahead with the Cardinal's plan and that he'll make sure that any Templar agent will stay away from port for now.
The main part of the mission is a large sea battle against an increasing number of opponents, all between level 34 and 38. You will have five NPC ships to support you and will start out facing three opponents. Reinforcements for them will spawn three times during the mission, bringing the total number of enemies you have to defeat to nine.
