A codpiece is a piece of armor that covers the groin. Perfect for combat or victory celebrations.
One of the possible mission rewards for the level 15 Privateer Career Mission, The Ignoble Noble (and incidentally also a functional copy of the Armored Codpiece, which is a reward for the corresponding level 15 Freetrader Career Mission).
