If you want to improve your standing with the British East India Company, the best way to do it is go and sink some of their rivals.
This is a bounty mission against the ships of the Dutch West India Company and the The House of Trade that can be used to raise your standing with the British East India Company. The standing level in the mission title will vary on your reputation. If you are 'Loathed' then it will read 'Indifferent' while if your reputation status is 'Indifferent' then it will read 'Trusted.'

- Sink Dutch West India Company OR The House of Trade ships: 0/15
Limitations
- You can only have one of these missions of any European Trader faction at once.
