The professor could decipher the Templar code on your map, but for that he needs his research notes. You'll have to go to his house and get them for him.

This takes place in the professor's house - the one you first had to visit in The Teacher. Inside you will be ambushed by three level 20 NPCs. Defeat them and get the notes, then return to the hideout where your scholar contact will have unsettling news for you.
