Your client is desperately waiting for a long overdue shipment of spices which he needs to keep his business afloat. The merchant carrying the cargo is under attack by pirates. Come to his aid and protect him.

This is an escort mission, where you have to lead a merchant ship to safety. The ship you must escort will periodically dump cargo, which you must pick up as you follow. Once you talk to the merchant, he will stop dumping cargo. There will be a number of opponents around level 4-8, but you don't have to kill any of them to finish the mission.

If you enter boarding combat, the merchant will resume dumping cargo, and you won't be able to talk to him again to stop him. Furthermore, completing the mission after this will not give you credit.

Additionally, if you talk to the merchantman right as he drops more cargo, the game will require you to pick up the cargo, but the cargo will not spawn. This makes it impossible to complete the mission.
