The merchant you protected is in need of another escort, and he has asked specifically for you. And a repeat customer can be a very lucrative thing, as long as he keeps coming back to you. Or so your contact tells you...
This is very similar to the preceding mission. You have six NPC allies, three of them merchant ships, all ranging in level from 3 to 7. There are seven enemy ships, ranging in level from 4 to 8, with any above level 5 marked as minor. Nearly all enemies will abandon ship long before they sink.
