Daniel Aikens in Morgan's Bluff tells you that there is a group of pirates in a bay nearby flying Bloody Arms colors. He wants you to try and convince them to join the Brethren of the Coast instead.

You will see three non-hostile NPC ships in front of you, all between level 5 and 8. You will be supported by one NPC ship yourself.

After clicking on the ships that's indicated with the mission marker, they all turn hostile. Defeat the Bloody Arms Freebooter to complete the mission; it is not necessary to defeat the other ships.
