The Stralsund's two batteries give her a great deal of flexibility and firepower, but at the cost of having to close in to short-medium range. She has a moderate mixture of speed, tuning and acceleration.

History

Strategy and Use

This ship is great for a naval officer in their 30's, it can take and give a pounding. You'll be able to take on much higher level NPC's. In pvp you'll be slow, especially as a naval officer, so stick with support ships as 2 or 3 smaller faster ships can easily take you down.

Tactics

To really use this ship well, you need to close to 350 yards or closer. With an average to poor turning and speed rate, try to stay pointed downwind, turning upwind will bring you to a stall for quite a while, leaving you vulnerable.

There is a chance to get multiple Stralsunds... This mission is hard to complete, but its nice for farming Stralsunds/deeds because the AI ships on your side can keep the extras busy while you board and capture or scavenge.
