History

In patch 1.6.34.0, this ship received a sizeable upgrade. According to the patch notes:

Neptune's Disgrace: Armor/Structure Bonus 25% -> 30%, Tracking 18 -> 23, Added 20% Reload Bonus, 34x9lb -> 34x10lb

Strategy and Use

Due to this boats odd wind angles and lack of bow chasers it is an odd fit for a combat ship. Excellent for broadside swipes but the wind angles make it tough to use. Perhaps best used as a transport ship that can fight in a pinch.

Tactics

Excellent Broadside ship with a decent crew makes this an acceptable boarding ship. Use chain shot and board with it. Be careful with your wind angles.

This ship is obtained by turning in a Refit: Pirate 'Santiago' Galleon (Captured) deed along with a 'Santiago' Galleon (Captured) deed to the Pirate Shipwright in the Crime Lord's office in Tortuga.

The Refit deed is obtained by turning in five Magistrate's Commendations for Excellence to William Kidd in the Crime Lord's office in Tortuga. The 'Santiago' Galleon deed can be obtained via Scavenge or by using a Careening Camp.
